Rhythmically Speaking Residency
Artistic Director Cynthia Gutierrez heads to Minneapolis for a week long guest artist residency with the celebrated Twin Cities company Rhythmically Speaking. Gutierrez will teach community class as well as create a new Latin Jazz work for the companies upcoming show “Groovers and Makers” at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis.

Artistic Director Cynthia Gutierrez Garner will join the Dance Department of Sacramento State University to hold an intensive creative residency where she will create her newest jazz work for their University Dance Company Fall 2023 Season.

Dance Educators Training Institute
Artistic Director Cynthia Gutierrez Garner will be one of three Guest Faculty for the 2023 D.E.T.I. focusing on dance, movement, self-reflection, culture and community. Gutierrez Garner will be presenting research on Ballet Folklorico and LatinX Jazz as part of ClancyWorks Dance Company’s annual dance educators training summit.
